Las Terrenas. At the beginning was a small fisherman's village on the north coast of the Samana peninsula. Today, Las Terrenas is the new and upcomming destination for tourism in the Dominican republic.
With its mile long white sand beaches, which are pristine and well protected, Las Terrenas with its 18,000 inhabitants is a new attractive pole, located in a tropical paradise.
Its warm subtropical temperature is tempered by a permanent breeze, which gives Las Terrenas an ideal weather all year long. Rainfall is moderate all year long without the typical tropical downpours found in other tropical areas.
