Motorbikes and taxis are abundant and are the easiest way to get around, but there are many quads, motorbikes and small SUV's to rent in Las Terrenas.
Many banks such as Banco Popular, Scotia Bank, Banco Progresso etc. have ATM's. Most of them offer currency exchange in additional to their tradtional bank services
While most businesses accept foreign currency, it is usually recommended to pay in Dominican Pesos, as the exchange rate applied in shops/Restaurants may be higher than the one applied by the banks, where the exchange rates are clearly displayed.
Internet is available in most hotels and in the many Internet cafes of the city. Las Terrenas offers many Wi-Fi access points.
Codetele, the major telecommunication operator, has a branch office conveniently located steps away from the Don Cesar resort. Telephone booths and Internet access are available at their location.
