Las Terrenas is connected by two main roads: one coming threw the West via Sanchez, and the other one threw the town of Samana and El Limon from the East. Both roads are winding mountain roads, with spectacular views of mountains, valleys and the sea.
The area has two airports, the El Catey international airport, 40 mn away of Las Terrenas, and a small airfield called "El Portillo", located 7km East of Las Terrenas. From where you can connect international flights in St Domingo which is 30 mn from Las Terrenas by flights.
The other advantage is the new road which makes it possible to reach St Domingo in now only 2 hours.
